Globetrotters Give Out Their Most Controversial Opinions on Travel & Tourism

We only have to look at every other boring dating app bio to realize that travel has never been a more popular hobby. As a childless adult who does a lot of remote working, I'm a full-time meme collector and a part-time tourist (just to clarify, I'd never put something this tacky in a Hinge prompt). It's given me some strong opinions about traveling. One of these is that no matter what size country you're from, there's probably a lot of it that you've never explored. Another is that wherever you go, a little courtesy and willingness to observe local customs goes a long way. 

I don't think that these viewpoints are all that controversial, but they might be if a recent Twitter prompt is anything to go by. When the people of the former bird app were asked what their most contentious traveling opinions were, they delivered with their typical variety. Vacations are more than just booking a plane ticket.
